Stroll through Battery Park City on any day of the year and you’ll find flower beds, lawns, plants and trees of many different species—even in the depths of winter one can find flowers in sheltered spots. The Battery Park City Parks Conservancy maintains a list of plants, birds and fish that can be found all throughout the neighborhood.
